We are only 8 days from our 4 a.m. Sunday departure for San Raimundo, Guatemala. Once there, we'll serve as builders for a much needed home and shelter for a family. Our partners are the mission organization, Casas por Christo, and they will lead us in our service. (and help us get it right!)
But for those going, the choice is already the right one - and we can't wait to get at it! Now if only we could bank up sleep all week until we get there.
We hope to update this blog with photos and thoughts from our youth when we get to our one week home. For those back in the USA - please be patient and don't worry if you don't see a daily post - we'll be busy - and internet may be spotty. But we'll try! Thanks to those who have helped get technology set up so we're more likely to get it done.
